The Seaview Lodge lies about 1,2kms west of Penneshaw Ferry Station on Kangaroo Island, a few 100 yrds from the sea, overlooking beautiful Hog Bay . A smashing seaview !
It`s a former 1890`s historic guesthouse, transformed into a modern, but very Australian Bed and Breakfast -Inn. The rooms are small and very "historic" with their fourpost-beds and fireplaces, yet offering ensuite bathrooms. The proprietors are friendly and serve excellent breakfasts and -meals.
Unique position overlooking the bay, historic and comfortable lodging
We leased a complete house for our week stay on Kangaroo Island.
It was in a super location, overlooking the bay, where we watched the ships and saw dolphins swimming by most every morning.
We also saw Tammar wallabies in large numbers at dusk. An added attraction of the area is the abundant birdlife, including the Little Penguins for which Penneshaw is famous.
The house has 3 bedrooms, a large open living room/dining room/kitchen area. A library, 1 1/2 baths, plus laundry room. There is a lovely balcony with a place to sit outside and eat or just relax and look out over the garden and bay.
