We have stayed here a couple times when the Weintal was booked out, much to my dismay. The rooms feel a bit like prison cells, with the dark brick walls on the interior and the drab furnishings. The bathroom/shower has a "stall" style door and both times I stayed there with Rob, I saw various bugs in each of the rooms. None that could have killed me and thank God there were no roaches (or I would have slept in the car). Just daddy-long-legs and millipedes and earwigs etc. Completely nuts for a place in the Barossa and for the prices they charge. I would not say the rooms were filthy, but obviously something was wrong to have so many bugs. I recommend staying somewhere else if you can!
