One of the main features of Ballarat is Sovereign Hill. with gold mining , and living in the 1800s.We stayed the night which is a must for the simply spectacular "Blood on The Southern Cross" which is on at night. It pays to book immediately for the night show as we only just made the second show, lots of bus tours.
