too noisy to sleep
All went well until the Bendigo council started to pump the drains outside my window under the shops from 5am to 6:50am. They do this regulary as otherwise the shops would flood. I did not go back to sleep. When I brought this up at reception they were defensive and immediately mentioned the double glazed windows which were not double glazed at all. The windows made no difference to the racket. When I emailed them to tell them about my stay they ignored me.
I felt they really did not care what sort of experience I had. Very Shabby treatment Shamrock!

The Historical Shamrock Hotel
The Shamrock Hotel, the Spirit of Bendigo. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to stay in this beautiful and historical hotel which have been providing a resting place for tired travellers for over 100 years.
