Amazing self contained accommodation in 7 beautifully designed cottages. The cottages are very new, really clean, and themed.
Our cottage was Cottage No 5 (2 bedrooms). The first sight of our Cottage was from our private driveway. It looked like a cute cottage, with a beautiful verandah at the front (complete with a 5 piece garden setting, umbrella and barbecue).
Opening the front door for the first time, we were just overwhelmed. A beautifully presented Cottage. You enter into the living area/kitchen. Leather lounges, beautiful wooden laminated floors, cute art work, beautiful rug. The kitchen was in almost southern French style, with a beautifully presented country style dining table.
The kitchen had 2 hotplates, microwave, all the cutlery and extras you wanted. They even have glad wrap, aluminium foil, microwave dishes, food storage containers,... for you. The only setback I guess was the lack of a real oven, but the very advanced microwave seemed to function as an oven as well. It worked anyway.
The two bedrooms had queen size beds, beautifully made up with nice pillows, fine sheets, and electric blankets. Heaters in the rooms were more than welcome on the cold mornings.
The bathroom with shower was comfortable, with heated towel rack, shower, toilet, wash basin, etc.
Lastly, there was a laundry, complete with second toilet, washing mashine, iron and ironing board, and a drying rack.
This accommodation is highly recommended to anyone looking for a slightly more upmarket self-contained accommodation, which is within walking distance of the town centre.
It was just so comfortable - fantastic!
The views were amazing, and the whole Cottage was just so beautifully presented, with complimentary chocolates and wine on arrival. Everything was just so detailed: table placemats that suited the colours of the rug and the artwork used in the Cottage, very soft and comfortable towels...
Overall, a fantastic experience! Highly recommended.
