A True Heritage experience
We have stayed here many times, and cannot understand the attitudes of people who come to the country and are then surprised to meet a spider. Mooltan Guest House has been there for a very long time and gives a totally different experience from the usual motel room. It may not be for everyone, but it is made clear on the website that it is a large old house. I always find the memorabilia fascinating.
It is very clean, has crisp linen, fluffy towells and very comfortable beds.
The garden is lovely and very extensive and the location is ideal for visiting the historic Hepburn Bathhouse and the Hepburn Springs village with many eating options. You can leave the car behind and get a real feel of peace and quiet by wandering around the paths in this unique area of Victoria
Unique Quality: The new apartments have great windows that fold back to take in the great expanse of the garden and the Mineral Springs beyond. The Japanese bath is good for a deep soak and the kitchen facilities are very adequate if you don't want to go out.
