Pub accommodation in the centre of town

As I was with the band performing on the Saturday night at the pub, and since we had travelled 2 hours or more to get there, accommodation and a free dinner was included as part of the deal.

Two of us couples shared a very nice suite, and the guys had more simple single rooms.
I have to say, the standard of our room (it really was a suite) was better than any other pub we've stayed in 'on the road'.
Normally when accommodation is thrown in, we find ourselves in rooms which could only be described as sparse, old and bare, and where you'd almost be more comfortable sleeping on the floor than in one of their old beds, but this room was none of these.
It was quite grand really, with nice furniture and rugs on the floor, high celings, nice curtains, our own kitchen and bathroom, everything we needed for our short stay.

Unique Quality: Handy to the nightlife downstairs was one of the most important things for us, because by 4 am, everybody was exhausted and just wanted to drag themselves upstairs and crash into bed.
