Having my last meeting in Melbourne on Friday afternoon and my next meeting on Tuesday morning in Sydney, I decided to take a few days out and drive along the Pacific Highway - no plan apart from to take things easy and see some more of Australia.

Favourite Holiday Spot

Lakes Entrance is my families favorite holiday destination that is in Victoria. I have been holidaying there every xmas for over 30 years and my father spent his holidays there as a very young boy. We like it so much that we bought a block of land there and will build a house and live there one day in the future.

Lakes Entrance is a lovely beach resort. The main beach is 90 miles long and is known as the 90 mile beach. It also has many waterways around the town and is a favourite for people that like to fish,water ski and do all kinds of water activities. The beach is lovely and clean with nice soft sand.
Lakes Entrance attracts many tourists and holiday makers of all ages from all over the place. It is a great place to take the family for a holiday that is nice and relaxing. It is only about 3 and a half hours drive from Melbourne.
Fishing can be done here by boat or from the waters edge on shore. If you love beaches you will love this place. It is a place that improves each year. It has many types of accomodation to cater for all budgets.
