Conveniently Located to Everything

This boutique, art deco style hotel has been newly renovated. It is conveniently situated in the heart of the theatre and Chinatown district and within walking distance of the CBD and the free city circle tram.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable and you will not feel cramped. The bed was also very comfy and if it wasn't for the noisiest garbage collectors in the world waking us up at 5:00am, I would have no complaints at all.

The staff are unobtrusive, but helpful when asked for assistance.

Unique Quality: There is a restaurant and a nice, quiet bar downstairs - just the place for a nightcap before turning in for the night.

Theatre District Hotel

The Crossley Hotel is located within the theatre district. Its also a short stroll to major shopping precincts and one block up from Chinatown.

If business is on the cards The Crossley is located at the Parliament end of town with easy access to public transport.

Hotel has easy access. Nearest Railway is Parliament Station and only 50 metres away. Tullamarine Airport is 25km away.

Stayed in a room which had one Queen Bed, work desk, wireless or broadband internet and LCD TV. Colour scheme is natural colours making for a fairly harmonious experience. Room contained a mini bar , Tea coffee facilities, iron, dryer, shower over bath.

Had a bad experience with air conditioning (it was blowing out cold air - no heating). It took three visits from reception until they agreed that it was not working and moved me to another rooom.

Hotel also has Restaurant and Bar, Business Centre & Valet Parking I did not use these services but just noted it for you should you need them.

Paid AUD$119.00 for one nights stay through wotif.com - this is a discounted rate normal rack rate is AUD $370.00 which I think is over the top for this room.
