Chocolates from Haig
- you can only get them in Melbourne and Adelaide. It hails from Adelaide,
but I dare say it is the best chocolate from Australia.
I like best the ones which are round and has an entire macadamia nut in it. yum!!!

The NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) is another Melbourne ikon and institution supported and loved by Melbournians as much as AFL football or the Melbourne Cup. It was designed by the late Roy Grounds and completed in 1968, while recently under went major renovations. The NGV houses the largest collection of international art in Melbourne. The building in it's self is a monumental work of art - the entrance Water Wall the key show piece, as well as Leonard French's stained glass ceiling in the Great Hall.
Aussie Rules Maddness
by Sweetberry1
Aussies are crazy about their football.. "Aussie Rules Football".
In fact Aussies are crazy about sport in general.. Football in winter, and cricket in summer.
Ohh, and there are lots of other sports in between.
I have never really been crazy about sport myself, but do have a favorite team.... The Pies.. (Collingwood)
Collingwood played its first game as a full-fledged member of the VFA on May 7, 1892 against Carlton and lost by two goals to three.
It was the beginning of one of Australian sport's longest running, and strongest, rivalries, which is still very much alive today.
The Magpies were the youngest of the clubs that formed the Victorian Football League in 1897, but have made a huge impact on the competition and the game in general.
Today... Still the best team!
Attention to all Strawberries Lovers
by Jolaz
Just a few minutes drive from Arthur Seat that you can come to the Sunny Ridge Strawberries Farm. There are around 30 rows of strawberry fields there. However only a few of them will be opened for strawberries picking each day and you are restricted to pick in that area. Hence the earlier you could be there, the bigger and more strawberries you can pick.
You need to pay AUD5 for strawberries picking, which in return will entitle you to have 500gm free. Any extra will be weighed and charged.
There are a lot of strawberries produce sold there also.
And of course don't miss the ice-cream made from these fresh strawberries
