Head for the Twelve Apostles...
by wen_viaggio
Head for the Twelve Apostles in Melbourne! This scenic coastal sight will blow your mind away!! Check out Crown Casino too;the little Vegas of Australia. I was in Philip Island and was sitting in front of the shore waiting for the famous Fairy Penguins to make their nightly trek up the shore. The evening sky took on an orange glow and the colours splashed wildly across the horizon....the winter breeze carried the scent of the ocean and the crowd's cheery mood filled the air. As the sky darkened, the stars appeared and wooooo.....it was the most beautiful star lit sky I have ever seen in my life!! Millions of them! Absolutely beautiful!! For a moment, I forgot that the main attraction was the arriving penguins and not the cosmic wonders.
Victorian Terraced Houses 2

Another adorable set of Terraced Houses I fell in love with while walking from Carlton to Collingwood along Victoria Parade.
Walking the city turned out to be a great way to see things in much more detail than ever before.
City skyline
by l_joo
In tourism, you must always upload some nice looking city skyline to attract tourists, everybody did so, is probably a must to show tourists the city is extremely thriving, flourishing, prospering or well developed. By doing this, tourists who are willing to spend money believe they have chosen a right place, and then the city's economy would go up. So this time, in this tip, I also want to do a 'city skyline' beautifully to attract tourists.
Packing List
by Gwynneth
Take a spare empty suitcase or two... they'll be full by the time you leave! People really know how to dress in Melbourne... that's why your there shopping!! Always take some foot massage oil! The aching feet caused from that flash pair of shoes you just bought, will need some love and attention! Who's got time to snap photo's! Do they have a beach there?
Collingwood Melbourne
by cassiejoy42
When we took a visit to the Collingwood Community Centre we were amazed at the Mosaics and the Gardens and the real community spirit that we found in the middle of Melbourne.
Collingwood Community Centre is built at the bottom of a huge set of high rise apartments (units, flats) that are owned by the Ministry of Housing. The high rise apartments are rented out to families or singles.
We had a tour of some of the flats, had a meal prepared by the local College, with food from thier own community garden. The Mosaics are amazing. We also toured the local open space area and took in the local scenery. The Mosaics were all laid by members of the public housing estate.
An absolutely amazing place in the heart of the suburbs!
