Great nights sleep
My partner and I decided to stay in a hotel on New Years Eve instead of battling the crowds for a taxi home.
We found this little place on Elizabeth street via www.ratestogo.com.au and have to say we were very impressed.
We booked a 1 bedroom apartment, which was self contained, with couch, table, queen sized bed, decent bathroom with washing machine, and a small stovetop and large fridge.
Obviously most of the amenities werent needed as we were only there one night, but the value for money was definitely there for us

Nicely btwn main shopping mall and Queen Vict Mkt
Stayed there for 4 days on my 2nd trip in 2005. Very nicely located in between the Main shopping mall and Queen Victoria Market. Very close to Franklin Street too where the car rental companies are located. They were kind to give us an early check-in (we arrived at 10am).
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and the place was carpeted. The bathroom was really spacious and the king sized bed superb. Will gladly stay there again.
