We wanted somewhere cheap to sleep for the night. At $66 for a twin room, we expected more than we received. The room was minimal, with just beds and two cupboards. Which suited us fine. When we entered the room we were immediately hit by a horrible stench. The carpet was black with filth and the wall was stained from someone who had thrown a drink at the wall. Why the cleaners hadn't cleaned the wall was beyond me. I was too scared to get into the bed for fear of what was living in there, so I just slept on the top of the sheets. The shared bathroom was in a similar state. The roof was black with mould and the power points were loose and coming away from the wall. I decided not to take a shower. We left early in the morning and had to phone the receptionist to come down and give us back our key deposit. We called them and they mumbled something into the phone and never came downstairs to check us out. I assume they fell back asleep. When we tried to call them again the phone was engaged. We left without receiving out key deposit. Not very impressed. I left this Hostel feeling very unclean and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
