Madison Spa Resort Moama

My partner Andy booked a suprise long weekend away over the Christmas for us.
The resort was nice and the rooms were clean with a view and the pool was big and well set out.
We had breakfast each morning which was cooked from a menu and it was some of the best we have had.We went out for dinner so can not comment on the other meals.

We didn't try the spa treatments,but the area looked nice.
We would recommend this accomodation and we would stay here again.

Unique Quality: The pool area was set out really well,with seating and a grassed area to sunbake.
There is also a bar so you can have a nice cold drink.

Just home from a 2 night stay. Their website boasts, and I quote "the best in accommodation; indulge in the lap of luxury" and so on. The gas log fire in our DELUXE SPA ROOM was rather lovely, however it went downhill from there. The carpet needed a clean, the furniture was damaged and tired, the decor tacky. Bathroom fixtures and fittings were seriously dated and BUDGET MOTEL standard at best. The spa sat uninvitingly in the corner of the room with no ambience, so much so we didn't bother to use it. The mini bar was jam packed with so much milk bar standard junk, we couldn't fit in a bottle of wine. Staff were reasonably friendly but not trained anywhere near the level you would expect for a "Luxury Resort". The only redeeming point - the FOOD AT KONOSIRS WAS FABULOUS, but again it went downhill from there. The decor was tired, a big crack across our table, the carpet grubby and staff openly ironed napery whilst we ate. Beer was delivered to the table with no glass, we had to ask for water and for the table to be cleared of clutter.

Summary: Enjoy the food, forgive the wait staff, blame Management, but give the accommodation a big miss. They should not be permitted to advertise as a Luxury Retreat/Resort because put simply - it's not.
