Old Mill B&B On The Moyne River, Port Fairy

This was an excellent bed and breakfast, situated on the river front ,established in a converted flour mill the external walls were the original stone walls. It is a National Trust building and has 6 ensuite bedrooms. What appealed to us was the huge lounge area on the ground floor, the massive ceiling beams made from local timber over 100 years ago, and the huge fireplace with the blazing fire that kept us warm. There was a guest kitchen adjoining the lounge where you could make teas, coffee etc, however an unexpected bonus was the bottles of good wine and premium beer that were there for use by guests at no charge. We enjoyed our stay and would most certainly stay again when next in the area.
