Classy Hotel
This hotel is a classy place in the middle of a funky area close to the beach. This a great place to hang out in Melbourne, if you want to explore some good second hand antiques or clothing...funky jewelry or really different cafes.
There's a ton of sidewalk cafes, and many different cuises to choose from. The Prince has one of the best restaurants in Melbourne, the Circa and it's located on Acland Street...where all the action is in St Kilda.
It's also close to the beach, and the biking paths along the bay. It's also right by the trams...where you can take a 15 minute tram to the CBD or visit anywhere in the city.
If you don't want a typical, in-the-city experience...this would be a great choice.
