We mainly picked this hotel because we were on a budget and it was listed in our travel brochure of the region as the town's best value 3.5 star hotel. The giant sign on the roof advertised rooms at $49.95, but ours was more like $60 because there were 3 of us.
Very good price though, because you'd be pushing it to get a triple room in a backpackers for that....
One bonus was that instead of having a double and a single bed in one room, they were in separate rooms, so our exchange student (and us) could have our own room. In fact she had a choice of 3 single beds in her room, which is out of the ordinary too when you only book for 3 people.
Unique Quality: For the price it was ok, though the shower tended to spurt water everywhere but where it was supposed to go. There were no views to speak of, but the beds were at least comfortable, so we had a good night's sleep, which was the main thing, as we had a long way to travel each day.
Directions: About 5 kms from the town centre on the highway
