Didnt stay in a hotel, we just just crashed.
There are tonnes of Hotels and places to stay in Broome, and tonnes of friendly people who are happy to let you crash, if they like your face that is. My mate and I met a guy who let us crash in his house full of surfers and sand. It was a laugh. We all sat out in the back at night smoking and watching the Fruit Bats flying into the tree above our heads.

Middle Lagoon: Best View of the Stars
For those looking to explore pristine landscapes of Dampier Penninsula, but not with 300 other people at once, Middle Lagoon is a gem of a campsite. Shady spots available near the beach (included two beach huts), showers, incredible stargazing. Stunning photos are to be had around sunrise, when you can also see the sting rays feeding the in the shallows (just walk slowly and they will get out of your way). Great fishing, whale watching, and seashell collecting are to be had as well.
Well run by a local aboriginal family, this campsite is one of the best I have seen on Dampier Penninsula. For even less company, avoid weekends and school holidays.
Camping Sites (powered and unpowered)
Wildlife (rays, whales, birds, lizards, roos)

Moonlight Bay Quality Suites Broome: A great place to stay
This is quite a nice place to stay. You can cook your own meals or go down to Matsos which is affiliated with the hotel. Staff are helpful.
Has a 25-30m pool. If you get an ocean view room you have views over Roebuck Bay.

Town beach campground.: Cheap as chips
The last month i was in Broome i stayed in the Town Beach campground, needing to save some cash for further travels this was the cheaper option. The campground is really quite big and is a stones throw away from town beach. It is well looked after by manager Keith and he doesn`t let any trouble makers in so your in good hands if you decide to stay here.

Roebuck bay backpackers: Roey........
I lived in the RBB hostel for about 2 and half months, it was my second home. The hostel isn`t as flashy as the Kimberly club but is more centrally located and has a bottle shop next door and bar right on the side as well a large car park. You can also use the swimming pool at the Roebuck hotel if your staying here.
I found it to be a wonderful place to meet fellow backpackers and i made countless amount of friends here from backpackers to pearlers.

I stayed in 2 different places in Broome, first the Kimberley Klubb hostel. Its a little walk from town but very nice, but the rooms were bloody hot and just my luck, i shared a room with a couple who were shaggin each night!!!!(although i did walk in on them once in the day!, and she had a cracking pair of jubblies!).
So, I left there and went to the Roebuck Bay backpackers for just an amazing $7/nt!!!!!!! the dorms werent up to much but it had a kitchen and a tv room, all ya need!
