Mangrove Hotel

The Mangrove Hotel is a great Choice when in Broome. It is centrally located -a short 5 min walk into Town, or catch the local bus$3.00 into Town or to Cable Beach that comes every 1/2 hr.
The rooms are pleasant and spacious, with 2 pools. There is a large grassed area that overlooks Roebuck Bay , which is lovely to sit at any time of the day

Unique Quality: This is the place to be for stairway to the moon, in the dry season months.1/2 hr before the moon rises over the mudflats the place is crowded, but everyone hushes in appreciatuion once the aboriginal music starts and the Golden moon rises. Fabulous to see and worth timing your trip for the few minutes of lunar splendour. There are also great sunrises from this vantage point.
