Busselton Beach Resort: Plenty Of Facilities For Families

We have taken our annual holiday here for many years, usually early January when Busselton is one of the most popular destinations in Western Australia. The resort is a Time Share however rental accommodation is available through the resort or the Busselton Tourist Centre.

Accommodation is provided in self contained 2 and 3 bedroom cottages located throughout the resort grounds, many having views and direct access to the beach. Other facilities provided are a large outdoor swimming pool and spa, indoor spa, gym, squash court, 2 tennis courts, mini golf course, childrens playground, and games room.

The beach is 30 metres from the resort, calm waters and beautiful sand.

Rental of 2 bedroom cottages are Aust $220 per night.

The Margaret River wineries are 40 minutes drive, the coastal town of Dunsborough and the beaches of Meelup, Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay are a half hour drive.

Cape Lodge

Cape Lodge is a gorgeous location and is nestled on 40 acres of native forest. The landscaping is superb with rolling lawns and beautiful gardens and everything overlooks a very picturesque lake. It's a little more upmarket than the average accommodation in the area and all the rooms are very stylish. Definitely if you are looking for something secluded - this is for you. There are six rooms in the main lodge including the Honeymoon suite.

The garden, lake and terrace wing suites are separate from the main building but only away. These are just a little more private and secluded and have their own private courtyards. The restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast and no doubt a great lunch and dinner as well.

Busselton Holiday Village

The Holiday Village is right on Peel Terrace and close to the town centre and the beach. They offer camping, caravan and motorhome sites as well as having onsite vans and cabins. Some of the sites are on cement pads. They are open all year round.

The Boardwater Resort

The Boardwater Resort was formerly known as the Dunsborough Beach Resort and is halfway between Busselton and dunsborough overlooking Geographe Bay. The resort sits in quite a peaceful setting so it is a great getaway. There are 100 deluxe King Rooms as well as fully equipped 2 bedroom Executive Apartments. Every room has a balcony or patio with garden views.

The Esplanade Hotel

This beautiful old hotel was built in 1898 and was the focal point for many farmers in the region. The Nard as it is affectionately known, offers counter meals featuring fresh local seafood. They are open for lunch 12.00 - 2.00pm Monday to Saturday and for dinner 6.00pm daily. They also have a number of bars.

Accommodation includes several budget styled which are completely self-contained and are close to all facilities as well as both town and the beach. There are also two storey townhouses for families which are also self-contained. The Deluxe Units cater more for the longer stay guests.
