    The Coffee palace was the usual name in Australia for a temperance hotel. Built in 1895 the building is now used by YHA Australia Hostelling International as backpackers accommodation. The hostel has a varied combination of rooms from 20 rooms/3-8 per room, 8 double rooms, 9 twin rooms, 4 single rooms and 7 family rooms. Check in is from 11.30am and check out is 10.00am. Don't worry if you do not hold an annual YHA or Hostelling International membership card. When you check in, you can purchase an introductory membership fee of $3.50 per night.
