expensive but good

This is a conveniently located hotel and is beautiful. It's about 2.5 miles (about 4 km) from the airport, and just over 1/2 a mile from the middle of town (about 1 km).

It's also a great jumping off spot for a tour through the Kimberleys. Go see the gorges, waterfalls, rain forests, etc.

Service was excellent. I would recommend this place, but it is a bit on the pricy side -- but you can usually get a better deal on the price if you check around online.

They have tennis courts, a basketball court, and a jogging track.

Unique Quality: This has a wonderful pool with comfortable chairs to lounge around and catch some sun. The views of the surrounding area are great.

THey have both a bar and a restaurant on premises, both of which are good and worth checking out. The bar is only open from 6-10pm, though. The restaurant is also open limited hours - 7-9 am and 6-8:30 pm, so plan accordingly! It's a little frustrating to have to plan meals within such a small time frame, but it is Kununurra, so there's not that much to do - or that much choice!

The rooms are big and clean, and the people are very helpful/nice.
