Rushton Park is home to the mighty Peel Thunder F.C whose base has been in the capital of the Peel region - Mandurah.

The ground is set for refurbishment soon but the venue has been home for many a fan, with a capacity of about 8000 this small venue is ideal for a club such as Peel Thunder.

Abingdon Miniature Village was first opened in 2003. The name of the village comes from Abingdon in Oxfordshire which is the oldest continually inhabited town in the UK.

County Hall & Burford Bridge

The County Hall dominates the centre of town and was built between 1678 and 1782. The lower floor was and still is, used as a market with the upper floor being a court room. Since 1760 the custom has been for the Mayor and Councilors to congregate on the roof of the Hall on special occasions and throw buns to the people below.

The Mandurah Arts Centre is one of the best regional arts centres in Western Australia and is the centre for entertainment and cultural events in Mandurah. There is always something on at the centre whether it be Australian or International artists, country and western, rock & roll revival shows, comedy acts, opera singers etc etc.From time to time it is used for trade shows or other festivals, regional art shows , school presentation evenings and other local community events.
