The Mandurah Crab Festival in autumn is the city's major festival event of the year. The festival is set up on the foreshore in Mandurah with live entertainment and all the attractions of a fair including show bags. Over the course of the weekend there will be cooking displays by various chefs with crab (along with other seafood) obviously being the main focus. There is also a wine tasting pavilion. On the Saturday night there is also a fireworks display.
The gardens contain over 4000 plans with 300 different species and varieties. Beautiful conifers are used a lot in many different varieties and sizes especially the dwarf varieties in amongst the miniature houses. If you are really interested, you can get a list of plants from the office to help you identify them as you go around.

This church is in Wherstead, Suffolk and was built around the 11th century during the Norman era. Over the years additions were made including the tower which was added in the 15th century.

St Nicholas Church was built in the 12th century for the lay servants of the Abbey. Next to the church is the Abbey Gateway which was used as the entrance to the Old Abbey. On the right of the Abbey is what used to be the Borough Buildings and is now Guildhall which comprises the Abbey Gatehouse, the new Abbey Hall and part of the Grammar school.

Café Pronto is right in the town Centre and opposite the old Mandurah bridge. It is a busy place with fine dining at reasonable prices. Then menu is varied from Mexican to Italian to seafood to steak. They also have vegetarian dishes.
