Bliss Beauty Spa & Bodyworx
by CandS
If you're in the Margaret River area and need a massage or any type of beauty therapy then I recommend Bliss. We bought my mum a massage & facial so I decided to go for a massage too... It was great! :) The girls are really friendly and they have a cute little salon...

Busselton
by keeweechic
Bussleton was one of the first areas settled in Western Australia and a lot of the region takes its name from the early settlers. There is quite a history here of whalers, shipwrecks and forestry accidents.
Some of the early settlers were even speared to death by aborigines. Today it is a thriving holiday mecca with great fishing, golden beaches and a jetty which is 2 km long.
Lunch in a vineyard
by TheWanderingCamel about Vasse Felix
Many of Margaret River's vineyards have very good restaurants. Whilst few are open in the evenings, lunch at a vineyard is definitely part of the local culture.
With a big balcony and wide windows looking over the vineyard, the warm red glow of local jarrah timbers and a menu featuring wonderful local produce, Vasse Felix's restaurant is one of my favourites, summer or winter. The menu is always interesting and suited to the season.
Bookings are advisable in the summer- particularly at weekends. Winter is always quieter but it wouldn't hurt to book at the weekend, just to be sure. Nothing beats a big bowl of yummy home-made soup and some fresh-baked bread on a winter's day to warm the tum and the heart. If you still need a little more, the desserts are always delish. And a good glass of red (their Malbec is excellent) finishes things off very nicely.
Mammoth Cave
by trixee
Mammoth Cave is probably not the prettiest cave in Margaret River, but it's worth seeing anyway. It is big, it probably took us about half an hour to do the cave tour. We got the MP3 self guiding audio set, but it proved a little distracting at times. There are signs inside the cave anyway so you're not missing much if you decide not to take it, but seeing as it's included in the price, you may as well. The cave was cold, so warm clothing is highly recommended. And sturdy footwear, there are some slipppery bits. We decided to do the marri walk trail upon exiting the cave, this was great but took a bit longer than expected - probably around 20 minutes. It was difficult to take decent photos with a standard digital camera, and the video didn't come out that good either. If you want good pictures, you need a pro camera.
Margaret River Chocolate Factory
by CandS
The Margaret River Chocolate Company is another great place for a visit... You can taste test some of their products (YUM!) and buy one of the many chocolate products available... You don't need a lot of time there though.
