Expensive If You Want A Private Room
The price for a standard double is $63 and an ensuite is $73 (this was what was quoted to us). The website lists prices as:
8 bed dorms $21
4 bed dorms $24.50
double $56
double ensuite $66
family, from $92
The dorm rooms were pretty full with long-term working holiday makers. We had the double with ensuite, and although it was cheaper than many other options, i think I'd pay a bit more to get somewhere better next time. The youth hostel part is fine, and it has good facilities etc, just not worth $73AUD for a private room with ensuite.
I recommend it for backpacker and dorm rooms. Not for people interested in a double.
Also, we had a car so it was easy to get to and from, but it isn't centrally located - be aware.
