Hi all,
We are 2 girls coming over for a holidays in Perth in late April. Grateful if any one could offer some advise(s) on the following:-
1. Would it be more economical if we were to use taxi from the airport to city center( to be exact Hay Street ) as compared with the shuttle bus ?
2. If so how much does it cost us ?
3. Our most crucial question, our flight departs early in the morning e.g 0700hrs...as such we need to check in by 0500 hrs and to leave Hay Street by 0400hrs > Is there a taxi or bus service ( preferably taxi ) at this wee hours ?
4. Again,if it's available how do we book it and how much does it cost us at this wee hours ?

Early morning taxi has extra charge, but I would think you would easily get to city centre for $30 or less. There is a shuttle servive, why not google up Perth Airport Shuttle Bus.
I often book a taxi to airport for 3am in morning

Go to Kings Park, Scarborough Beach, Fremantle, spend a Sunday afternoon at The Cott, visit Hillary's Marina and go to The Lookout! My fondest memory of Perth has nothing to do with the place but the people - my family and friends, so it's pretty irrelevant to people that don't know them!
One thing that Perth doesnt have a shortage of is beaches. The coast it dotted with them from north to south, and pretty much all of them are great.
Here's a short list of some of my favorite beaches.
Scarborough Beach- Great beach for surfing, and swimming. Surf boards and body boards may be rented at Observation city, right on the beach. Great atmosphere during the day, and at night...
City Beach- Beautiful beach located just south of Scarborough. Voted best beach in Perth in 1999. Crystal clear water, and great shore breaks...
Swanbourne Beach- An alternative beach, more famous for its nude beach section. Located just North of Cottesloe...
Cottesloe Beach- Popular beach, with some good surfing, nice water, and another great atmosphere beach during day or night. Beach is lite up at night, and always busy from the near by club The Cott...
Leighton Beach- Perfect Beach for the family. Calm waters, and an animal friendly beach as well. Long beautiful coastline...
Coogee Beach- Located about 20 minutes south of Fremantle. No big crowds, brand new jetty, and nice calm water. Another family beach...
Wild flower, I already do not remember where I took this photos:( It is not right season to view wild flower actually.
But my mate really does like to take photo for these wild small flowers. I have to say it looks nice:)
I was bowled over by the hospitality shown to us everywhere we went, a barbeque was lit and beers would appear every time.
In Perth at the wedding of Jaime and Fleur we met up with more friends ( Mike & Jen ) from Sydney, when they learned that was our next destination they tossed us the keys to their apartment in Manley and told us to make ourselves at home, thanks guys.
