Booked this on Wotif- about$150 per night. The Chifley is in the business end of Town, fine for a business trip. I had to cart my bag up 5-6 steps- no ramp.Check in was ok.Room was smallish no view onto an interior space. No milk was in the fridge when I went to make a cup of tea. Small bath, seperate shower.Average hot breakfast with limited selection. No concierge service, but was happy to recommend.
Walked the several blocks to Dine at Halo, dinner around the corner at the Hilton- very nice.
Overall a small hotel , would suit businessperson- not a tourist hotel. Difficult for taxis to stop on busy st.
New, Clean, Comfortable, Central Location and Good Price! Would definitely revisit if I return to Perth. Was searching very hard over the Internet for a nice place to stay within my budget. Aussie dollar is so strong now!!! Finally found this at justclickaustralia.com for just AUD 108 for a double!
Unique Quality: No great views, but spacious room.
