  • This hostel is two converted victorian houses joined together. Facilities are adequate and each house has its own lounge and kitchen so there's plenty of choice. One lounge has DVD facilities. The hostel seems more geared towards long-termers than short stays but I found it very useful to be able to leave a bag with items that I would not need during my travels up the coast to Exmouth for about ten days. There is lots of information regarding job opportunities at the reception area.

    Coolibah Lodge $20 in a 4 bed room

    Lovely rooms that were surprisingly airy considering the 36 degree temperature whilst I was there...Very clean kitchens and patios.
