"Hotel Opened 13 Days Ago"

We were lucky to get a cheap opening special for an overnight stay at this new hotel adjoining the internationally known Burswood International Resort and Casino. Both hotels are operated by Intercontinental
It is a mid priced hotel, and you can enjoy the facilities of the Casino and its restaurants which have charge back to your room. I believe Kids stay and eat for free at this Holiday Inn

The view from our room looked over the casino hotel, only 3 minutes walk from our hotel.

We had dinner at the Victoria Station restaurant within the casino, very nice

All new , very comfortable, however teething problems with airconditioning kept temperature at 22C

The only disappointment with the bathroom was the new shower curtain kept bumping me in the shower, I do not like shower curtains

The water looks good but August being the coldest winter month no way was anyone swimming. The area is well set up for summer, plenty of lounges and there will be plenty of sun.

Well equiped room with a variety of machines, running, walking, cycling. Why ruin a good time

There is a nice pool area with a distant view of the parkland/ golf course. Some good pool seating, however it is winter and no one used this facility.

There is a indoor health centre which overlooks the pool area. It contains a variety of walking, running and cycling machines, all upmarket gear, there must be a dozen or so machines.

Our room had a great view of the casino hotel, and at night it was an exciting sight, cars everywhere and lights ablaze.

Good Friendly Hotel

This place was a delight, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was nice and clean. The InterContinental was a big disappointment and this hotel is so much better!

WA's only casino

There are several hotel options located near the Burswood Casino including the Holday Inn which is at the budget end.

The Holiday Inn Burswood is set amongst 100 hectares of lush grounds at the Burswood Entertainment Complex and has access to tennis courts, cycling, walking and running tracks.

The rooms are well provisioned with daily maid service. There is a mini bar with snacks and the bathroom comes with soap, shampoo, conditioner and other accessories.

But if you have a winning streak at the casino you can always upgrade to the InterContinental Perth Burswood ;~)

Next door to the Casino

Stayed here for one night in May celebrating an engagement. It was a spur of the moment decision and we just managed to get into there last room, which was unfortunately a smoking room. The room and ensuites are brand new, as this hotel was just completed last year, but they are very small, possibly the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in.
The bed was GREAT, so comfortable, and the bath was very long (though not very deep) but you could lie down completely in it. The rooms are almost sound proof, so although we were on the 2nd floor and the hotel was fully booked, we barely heard anything all night.
We ordered room service, and it was delicious, though quite expensive as you would expect. We also had breakfast included, and it was very fresh and they had a good range.
It is right across from the casino, and if you can book it for the right price, it is a great alternative to forking out a fortune to stay at the Intercontinental.
I would definately stay here again if I was booking in advance.

Perth's Newest Upmarket Hotel

This new hotel opened on 1st August and we were lucky to stay there Saturday night.
Conviently located next to the Burswood International Resort Casino, and only 3 km from the city centre this is a fabulous mid rate hotel operated by Intercontinental Hotels group. which also operates the casino hotel.

Your room card enables you to dine at the Casino with charge back facility to Holiday Inn.

The hotel had only been trading for 12 days when we arrived and there was a check in delay of 15 minutes. This was teething problems compounded by the low cost opening special and the Leo Sayer Concert being held that evening at the adjoining Burswood Theatre. We had an opening special price of Aust $99 , including hot buffet breakfast given to as as frequent guests of the Burswood international Resort Casino. Current opening special $138 incldes breakfast and is available for several months.

The Holiday Inn only has one restaurant, so we chose to take a 3 minute walk and dine at the Victoria Station restaurant in the casino. This restaurant is a regular Gold Plate award winner. Following dinner we spent a short time in the huge main gambling hall observing the action.This is a non smoking venue.

We had problems with airconditioning, it would not go below 22C and the bed had a heavy duna combined within the sheet. We were overwarm even after turning of airconditioning
