Joondalup Country Club Resort
I live quite close to this country club resort and I've stayed on a couple of occassions for weekends. As the golf club is also attached I would suggest that if golf is your passion in life this place would be a dream for you. I loved the early morning tranquility and the close encounters with the kangaroos. Considering you are right in the middle of a busy city its pretty amazing to see those kangaroos. Rooms were very comfortable, not luxury but nice. Air con was a little noisy and bathroom a bit on the squeezy size. The buffet breakfast was lovely, fresh and varied and special orders were beautifully cooked and presented. I didn't swim in the pool because it was too cold at the time however there are plenty of places to lounge around and relax and enjoy the peace. Staff were very pleasant and accomodating. It was a bit of a treck from our room to the dining room but on the plus side very quiet and we weren't disturbed by other guests.
Unique Quality: Well I think really the kangaroos hopping around the carpark were fairly unique and being sited on a lovely golf course.

Great Surroundings
The Joondalup Resort is situated about 15minutes north of Perth, surrounded by an 18 hole Golf Course and luscious greenery.
The hotel is fairly new, with a large pool and spa as well as a BBQ and picnic that overlook the golf course.
The rooms are very spacious and clean and though the standard rooms have shower only, the size of the shower and the amenities in the bathroom certainly make up for that.
The buffet breakfast served every morning is great, and has a wide range to choose from.
There is no security parking which is the only thing that I was a bit worried about, but they do have patrols looking out over the car park.
