KINGS AMBASSADOR HOTEL. Now known as Kings Perth Hotel. I finally found the name of this Hotel. I have been searching for 14 Years. I was suppose to stay at another Hotel but I was on a middle of the night flight from Singapore and even though I had reservations ands paid for the Perth Ambassador they gave My room away. They gave Me cab fare and sent Me a few Blocks to the Kings Ambassador. It was a Super Hotel. I found a Web site for the Perth Ambassador through VT and then emailed them and got the information on My Hotel.
The hotel is not the greatest but I wasn't paying and because of the Rugby World Cup, finding accommodation was tricky. The rooms are not dirty but have that musty smell that hotels in this price category generally have. Rates start at 80 AUD which is good for the location and the location is the best thing about the hotel.
Near to the City Centre - well, in the City Centre actually.
We stayed at the Kings Perth Hotel on the 20th January 2008. We have never stayed anywhere in the world that is as filthy as this place. The mould in the bathroom was so bad we prefered not to shower at all for fear of getting sick. There was rubbish all over the floor throughout the hotel. When we booked we were told we would get a free upgrade and we shudder to think what the cheaper room would have been like.
