Apartment in Western Perth

We had 4 persons sharing a 2-bedrooms apartment which could actually house 6 persons since it came with a sofa bed.

There is only one common toilet and 1 shower room so it could get a little cramp when everyone is going at once. I thought each room would have its own facilities but I got that wrong.

The upkeeping of the place was shoddy the first day (I had paid for a Platinum level daily serviced apartment) and I had to remind the Management Office to ensure housekeeping provides fresh towels. However, from there on, it was fine.

The apartment came with 2 TVs, VHS, CD and DVD players, some simple housekeeping items such as an iron with ironing board and a vacuum cleaner, a full kitchen and a full laundrette. Pretty much self-contained.

The pool was quite small but good for a few (shortened) laps (as long as kids are not in your way). There is a small warm water open-air jacuzzi next to the pool. There is also a sauna and a gym.

I had unit 94 on the 15th floor and this unit happened to come with a fantastic view of the CBD and that of western Perth and the suburbs. I could sit on the balcony all day and just drink it all in.

There is an "in-house" cafe - Fuche Perth, road level...so you need not wander too far if you are looking for meals. There is a 24 hours restaurant just a few blocks behind for folks waking up at 3am and wanting to chomp on something. Hay and Murray Street Malls are just about 10-12 minutes walk away and Perth Train Station and the main Bus Terminal are behind the apartment, about 10-15 minutes away.
