Rockingham Holiday Village: Spacious camping ground.

Rockingham Holiday Village is situated on the far end of Dixon Road about 5 mins drive from the Rockingham Shopping Centre, a few mins more from the beach.
There are cabins for hire, and powered sites for tents and caravans set in spacious gardens with tar sealed roads and lots of large trees.

Facilities include bathroom blocks, free gas BBQs with pergla area and large shaded children's playground.
There is an on-site shop for basic groceries and take away food, also a laundromat.
Buses stop outside the front gate with frequent buses to the shopping centre and beach.
(No swimming pool)

Prices:-
Powered camp sites $25au per night.
A basic cabin (without bathroom) for 2 is $55au per night, an ensuite unit, $75au, a deluxe ensuite unit $90au.
The older basic cabins without bathrooms look comfortable and clean, but are old and shabby.
New cabins and upgrades to the site are in the process of being built.

I have not stayed here, but researched and visited the place as people have asked about accomodation in Rockingham. I would not stay here in summer because there is no pool and no aircon, but for those who are happy without, it should be fine.
