Being that it is free for overnight stays, Laiap only has a few, ramshackle huts, that only provide minimal shelter. Tarps are a necessity to stay dry. There is a small roofed cookfire area, but no catchment or restroom facilities. All water must be brought to the island.

Laiap is only referred as a 'resort' tongue-in-cheek. It should be understood that Laiap provides a rough camping experience--bare and primitive, yet amazing for any adventurer.
