Extremely old and tired hotel. I would say built at least 30 odd years ago and has had no refurb. The rooms are pretty spartan and grotty. The sheets were damp from the humidity. The shower screens stuck and it was a battle to escape the shower every morning. The showers also flooded the bathroom and out into you main room. The food and beverage was simply horrible. Ordered a seafood salad which was hot and a garden salad which was frozen.
Hotel facilities minimal with an extremely small swimming pool. The clientele seemed mainly to be older bus tour groups stopping for the night.
No ironing board in the rooms, but a central laundry, which is fine in theory except that there were no ironing boards just padded benches for you to iron on, which is not the easiest thing in the world to do.
Unique Quality: One positive for the hotel is the lovely views. Built right on the water and a lot of the rooms have lovely water views. Unfortunately, there is no access to the water for swimming and a few locals advised that the water isn't particularly clean, which is a shame.
Directions: Located about 10-15 minutes by car from Suva CBD. In a suburb called Lami. Very little in the area.
