I stayed in a beachfront bungalow and awoke to the shore of the Coral Coast every morning. White sands, palm trees, great breakfast and many, many activites to choose from - or doing nothing at all for that matter. It`s a smaller hotel than most of the others in the area. Just quiet and idyllic.
The best thing about this place was the staff. I really got to know them well. I visited their homes in the village not far away, went on hikes with them, went clubbing, played some sport. Years later I can still remember many of their names. I really got to have a `local` experience. Tambua Sands is not the fanciest hotel I`ve stayed in, but I`ll probably remember it the longest.
