Tastiest Pineapples in the World are Fijian
by RedEaredPanda
If you find yourself in mainland fiji or on one of Fijian Islands vacationing, you must and I mean this from the bottom of my salivating heart, you MUST try the pineapple.. They are juicy and extremely sweet and tasty and make the best healthy breakfast.
Every morning we would get up and after taking a shower, we would stop by the nearby fruit shop to get a couple of pineapples.. Though small, they're very delicious and would make our day pleasurable.. Gotta try it...
The Door to Fiji

"The Arrival"
Nadi (pronounced Nan-dee) is the most likely arrival point if you visit Fiji. When you arrive at the airport, they have a nice musical welcome. One of the great things about Fiji is not only are people very nice, but most can sing and make beautiful music.
After the pleasant arrival, however, my recommendation would be to get to the outer islands as soon as you can. Nadi is just not that nice of a place, and the real magic of Fiji (and probably what you came to experience) is not found on the mainland or in Nadi, but on the smaller outer islands.
"Whales Tale"
One great thing Nadi does have to offer, is a good selection of day cruises which originate from Port Denarau, located just outside Nadi. I took a day cruise on Whales Tale and it was most enjoyable. We motor-sailed out to a small private island and spent the afternoon snorkling and swimming. We also took turns jumping off the ship into the deep blue ocean water, which was most exhilarating. The cruise also included breakfast with champagne, lunch, and all drinks, not to mention the traditional kava ceremony which is always interesting. Overall, I was very impressed with the friendly crew and really enjoyed the cruise.
"Fiji Water"
Many people might recognize the bottled water which comes from Fiji. It is a very pure water taken from inside the mountain you see in the picture. And yes, they do actually drink it in Fiji as well. At least the tourists do.
