This Resort is very relaxing. We stayed on the beachfront and when you open the door there is sand at your doorstep and the water 10 meters away from you. The Resort itself was very clean. The have a gift shop and restuarant. Its a great Family vacation spot, as they have many activities for the children.
These condos were very nice. It had a very cozy feel to them. They werent spectacular but very warm and cozy. Besides being located in a total paradise.
The Wyndham as it is known to everyone in town is right on the beach, has a restaurant on the premises, game room, kids club, weight room, and full service spa/beauty salon. The pool is fantastic and there is a torch lighting ceremony and serrenade at the poolside every night at 6pm.
Our stay here was perfect and I would totally recommend this place to anyone. It was just small enough so that staff started to call you by name and be alittle more personable with you.
This place boasts the largest pool in the South Pacific. The pool is nice and very inviting. There is a bar in the pool, a kiddie area, volleyball court (in the pool), and bridges that get you from one side of the pool to the other.
Besides the pool, the one thing that stands out at this place and on this island in general is the kindness and friendlyness of the people and staff here. The customer service is excellent. Its more about their culture as a whole that is very hospitable.
Since we visited in 1995, the hotel has changed its name to Sheraton Royal Denarau Resort.
This is a really nice hotel, set on Regent Beach, with its own offshore island.
The rooms are nice and spacious, with cane furniture and king sized beds, his and hers wash basins and seperate toilet and bathroom. We are on the first floor, accessed from elevated wooden walkways.
After being nearly run over by a speed boat (see Dangers section) we decide to retire to the pool. The water actually feels quite cool after the ocean, but also very refreshing. And it is safe from speedboats!
Standard hotel with standard rooms. Two swimming pools, bar, restaurant etc. Not alot to do there though so i would recommend going to stay on one of the islands if you are going to be here more than 3 days.
Reservations include dinners. Beers & wines available at open bar. Surf, dive, horseback, hiking trips for minimal charge (and worth it!).
Hospitality is A-1!
There is a pool and an awesome view of Tavarua, Plantation Island and more.
