hello, how long does it take to circle the nadi-island by car?
what are the most interesting places to stop by for picture taking?
Nadi is on the island of Viti Levu. I've never driven right round the island, but have heard it would take easily a full day to do so, without any time to stop and enjoy the scenery etc. Best plan for several days and enjoy what the island has to offer.
The roads circling the island are in reasonably good repair but they and the local traffic are not necessarily built for speed :-)
From Nadi to Suva its already 3 1/2 hours without stopping so going all the way around would probably take one (long) day without stopping.

About a 10 minute drive north of Nadi there is a turn off near the Mountain of the Sleeping Giant. There you will find the Garden of the Sleeping Giant. if you love flowers you will be amazed at all the lovely orchids on display here. There are also many tall trees and if you are lucky you will see some pretty Collared Lory's here. The Lory's are active little parrott's that are green, dark blue, and brilliant red in color.
I have been having a little Sony camera that I take everywhere with me. I have had it for about a year. I recently bought this marine pack that the Sony camera goes into. It is made especially for that make and model of camera. You can even use it to go diving. This was my first time using it. I was going to get a couple of those disposable underwater cameras but I hate the way the pictures turn out. So i invested a little more money and got this marine pack. I was very happy with it and I didnt have to worry about sand or water getting into my camera. It was very cool. These pictures are of the kids messing around. They were taking pictures of themselves with it. Its pretty durable too.
