I'm planning a trip to Bora Bora and have lots of flexibility. However, I live in Michigan, so, I don't want to go in June - August when the weather is nice here. When is a good time to go?
Thanks!
Sandy

The best time for Bora-Bora is during their winter, early june to late september it's dryer and not too hot.
(less mosquito too)
Hi, Sandy.
You'll be OK right up to about November. I'd suggest October is your best bet.
Actually our summer is their winter so weather wise that is the best time to go. The bungalows don't have A/C and (their) summer there can be very hot. June - Aug the weather there is perfect and you don't need A/C as long as your bungalow has a ceiling fan. Also, don't stay on the main island - it's poverty ridden and very depressing - your best bet is staying on one of the private islands or "motu's". My recommendation is Bora Bora Eden Beach Hotel; its gorgeous and very reasonable for Bora-Bora.
Hi there, I'm from Ohio originally. I now live in Panama City, FL. I moved here in August. Hellish 100+degree heat everyday!!! I can't even imagine how hot it is in the South Pacific from June-September!! I'm also looking for info on Bora Bora.
June-September is winter in Bora-Bora, best time to go because is dry and it's never too hot,
