Largest hotel on the island
This 3-star hotel is locally known as Hotel Hawaiki Nui, and is the only international class resort hotel on the island. It is located in Tepua Bay, south of Uturoa.
Unique Quality: There is a pleasant indoor-outdoor bar next to the swimming pool and a restaurant that offers a good breakfast buffet and for dinner French cuisine and seafood specialties.
The fresh water swimming pool overlooks the lagoon.

A: "if I remember HERTZ is downtown Uturoa all others are at airport so it's a good walk, but there are also taxi there, short ride by car."
