Don’t go to Aito Motel Colette at Tikehau, unless you want mice in your bungalow, littered backyards with coconuts and car-wrecks. Just don’t go there. We left after 1 night instead of planned 5 and will be very cautious for such family pensions in the future. In addition we are still puzzled how the local tour agency in French Polynesia could come up with the idea of putting a family of four in such a tiny bungalow. The pension claimed that 2 bungalows were for families, interestingly they were of the same size as the other but without furniture and two too small double-beds.
