1848 Princess Tui Inn

not so happy chappy in Apia

Stayed here for 2 nights. My buddy told me it was ok. I had a very bad experience the day we checked in. I am very particular with bathrooms and toilets, I have never backpacked nor stayed in a dorm style accommodation before overseas. I had the misfortune to go to the toilet when we checked in and it was a horrible experience for me. It could have been just that time...but I can't cope with something like that. My buddy is one of the cleanest person in this world...but he has been backpacking for years and know what to expect.

Anyway, they have outside cottages, and I felt a little bit better there. The water across the road is not really for swimming but it was nice to sit there early in the morning while the sun rises and in the evenings.

Unique Quality: I will not give my judgment as I have a feeling I will be biased...being a first timer in this kind of accommodation...

But I can recommend the staffs... they were very friendly and accommodating...breakfast is inclusive...although I found some of the fruit they served are not fresh...
