The chiefs place(cant remember!!): Salapaga

Good value in single rooms with mozzie net. It was a communal toilet when I was there, but that may have changed. Ita about 20 metres from a wicked beach, with white sand and fringed by bent coconut palms. There is a bar(very important) and meals area on a varandah looking out to sea...its unbelievable.

Unique Quality: There is a little Aussie bloke living in Salapaga. He married a local when on a surf trip in the 1980's. She ends up being the chiefs daughter. 10 years later chief dies.....little Aussie bloke is declared chief. He and his wife run a guesthouse in this exceptionally beautiful part of Samoa.
