Flame Tree Backpacker’s Hostel: The Backpackers choice

by Ekahau

I did not stay here but drove by and checked it out because I know VT readers are frequently looking for budget places as they want to get as much travel in as they can for the money.

This is really a nice place with about 20 rooms it has its own small restaurant, bar, airport shuttle, and very important internet and the cost is only $25 or $30.

This one is right downtown but they are building another one on Kidenen Island which is secluded coral island in Majuro Lagoon - great place to Kayak, snorkel, barbecue or just hang out.

The Marshall Islands Resort: Majuro's best large hotel resort

by Ekahau

The Marshall Islands Resort use to be the outrigger and is an upscale full service resort hotel the sunset from your window over the lagoon is fantastic it is photo one on this page. It has this wonderful tropical lagoon setting.

It is conveniently located to the government offices and to the airport with a free shuttle. Very nice dinnig facilities I have never tried so some kinds of fresh fish. One night I order a fish and the waiter told me it would be a few min to catch one. The hotel has a pool (but with the lagoon who needs one) also tennis courts. They can arrange diving lesson and any sort of water sport one could want. What is very cool is the outrigger boats you can go out in. But even better the hotel has liveaboard adventures to the remote islands of the Rongelap Atoll.

Hotel Ajidrik: pleasant stay in Majuro

by jorgejuansanchez

This hotel is not the cheapest one in Majuro, but very conveniently located, and represents is a meeting point of travellers.
(I did not lodge there, preferring the beaches with free coconuts for breakfast, but went to Hotel Ajidrik often to meet other travellers).
It is not very large; it has only fourteen rooms, but the place and the staffs offering you a warm hospitality, even to no guests, is admirable.
