Exotic Seclusion
We knew we wanted to stay in a more "traditional style" bungalow during our visit to the Isle of Pines, so Le Meridien wasn't even on our list of choices for accomodation.
However, we did pay a visit to this property for an afternoon cocktail and a round of billiards. This resort was the epitome of a "Honeymooners Hideaway." An enchanting white beach and (another) pristine lagoon.
The pool area was actually quite smaller than some of the other resorts, but Le Meridien is considered the island's finest hotel.
Unique Quality: For kicks, Syb decided to ask about rates at this hotel........just in case we fancied a little luxury during our last night on the island. They quoted us $500-$700USD per night for a standard room!! (not even an ocean front bungalow!)

We finished our cocktails and happily strolled back to our own little intimate beach bungalow .........on the other side of the island!
One night's stay at Le Meridien could feed several family tribes on that island.......for a month!
