No Service Hotel
From check in to check out the hotel is a disaster. We booked interconnecting rooms and got a room for the adults at one end of the floor with three children at the complete opposite end of the floor. Took three and a half hours to convince them we not having that arrangement for a week, we were then "upgraded" to a deluxe suite where five of us shared one bathroom and a toilet so small once in the door didnt close.
Toilet paper, soap, tissues etc were not replaced. Not enough towels were left, top sheets were not put on the beds when made. We had to request the room be made up two or three times. The English was not great even worse when there were issues. The pricing of the food and drinks was outrageous, but Noumea is for people on the Prime Minister's wage as everything is ridiculously priced for no value at all. The food in the hotel was awful, hot breakfasts were cold and very little variety on the menu.
No activities for the kids at all and the hotel was so far from everywhere you had to catch a taxi to get to anywhere at a cost of at least $15AUD each time.
Noumea is a boring place for children and adults, with nothing that doesnt cost and arm and a leg to do. The country is dirty and smelly with very few garbage bins anywhere, even hard to find one in the hotel. The bin in the hotel was so small it was always overflowing by the next day. Noumea looks nothing like they advertise in the brochures my recommendation is stay away from the Ramada Plaza and Noumea if you want a nice holiday.
