Great value for money
Located off Myers Parks, quiet Greys Street, short walk from Aotea Sq. and Sky City.
Very friendly people! A special thanks to Claire, at reception for finding me an eye-doctor and getting me an appointment within a hour after our arrival the hotel! She was super!
Unique Quality: Comfortable rooms, we had two double beds, quite convenient for a couple with two kids. Kitchenette facilities, washing machine, iron.

hotel 5 mins from queen street
The duxton is a very good hotel, its upmarket but does not make you feel like you should have polished your boots before stepping into the place. Book in advance and ask about any deals they have.. you can normally get a bottle of bubbly and breakfast included in the price of the room..
Unique Quality: Most of the rooms have balconys and a spa.. there is also an outdoor pool and jacuzi.. you'll prob pay an extra $20 dollars compared to city life but its worth it!! the eggs benedict breakfast is to die for!!! it also has a small bar.. but its worth venturing out.. there is a tacho bar nearby
