Great base for long term stay
Browns Bay is a lovely part of Auckland and if you are spending a few days or a week in Auckland, this might be a nice area to make your base.
Stayed one night here in Jan 2004. The motel is quite out of the way and feels like a quiet retreat from the big city.
Browns Bay itself is a lovely coastal area with a glorious beach and a lovely shopping area.It has more of a small city feel and is a lovely place to spend some time.
Unique Quality: The motel rooms are quite large .We had a 'Studio Queen' room.
The room was spacious and the real surprise was the large, fully furnished separate kitchen. Great if staying here for a while as you can do all your own cooking.
The shower / toilet area was sufficient and clean.
We slept well here with absolutely NO outside noise.
